What a way to celebrate Good Friday down on the farm.
Enjoyed a great morning with some music, and cleaning while the boys were in the paddocks setting up new water troughs.
I whipped up a storm in the kitchen making Salt & Pepper Squid, Sea Shantys and Chippies, we all sat down around the table had a laugh and a bite to eat.
Time to clean up, and the universe knew I hated it soo much so it killed the power.
I had forgotten how bad no power down on the farm really is. No power means, no water, no milking plant, and hot and bothered parents and kids.
So the kids are picking at each others every little sore point, I have a table covered in dirty finger prints and food, plates covered in sauce, bench covered in spilt food and no idea when I can get to cleaning it all up.
Sooner rather than later would be great. Otherwise it will be a trip into town for Fillet-O-Fish burgers from maccas for tea for us :-).
The joys of living in the country!

Welcome Me!
Well blogging is very new to me, and I only came across blogger while searching for a blogging site for my mother in law.
I have always shared my thoughts etc via my Facebook page and after reading through a few different blogs I thought Id give it a go.
Don't know how good at it I will be, but doesnt hurt to try.
I intend on sharing my views and thoughts and day to day activities of our dairy farm.
Hopefully someone might be interested to read it :-)
